The 12 points earned by the Dragons against Whitfield included an uncontested victory for Dale Propst at 195, and a fall in just 36 seconds by Christian Hale in the 220 class.

Hale said the night was productive. “I think the team did really good tonight, but there is still improving to be done,” he said. “But overall, we did good as a team. As for me, I definitely need some improving, even though I wrestled good.”
Nathan Selby said, “Against Park Hills, our team did good with getting pins and racking up team points. When we wrestled Whitfield, it showed our team has a lot to work on, including myself. But Whitfield is a pretty good team as years past have shown. I felt good being back on the mats and ready for the season.”
Both the girls and the guys will be back on the mats this Saturday. The boys will wrestle in the Westminster Tournament, while the girls will wrestle at the Sherri Lance Tournament at Rockwood Summit.
